29. We All Just Want Justice

After months of pain, anguish and disillusionment, it appears that charges may finally be brought up against Conrad Murray in the death of Michael Jackson. This has brought up a plethora of emotions for fans all around the world. We are justifiably angry, sad and hurt that the reckless actions of one man took the life of someone we love and we want justice to prevail. The heartbreaking pain of our loss has come to the surface all over again and everyone is feeling the sometimes overwhelming effects of it.

We are all asking, why? Why is it taking so long for him to be arrested and charged? Why does he get to quietly turn himself in when Michael had to be handcuffed and paraded in front of the entire world? Most importantly, why didn’t he care for him like he was supposed to? What about the oath he took? Does he know the pain he has caused millions of people? Michael put his trust in him and it cost him his life! It was the ultimate betrayal.

All of these questions, delays and injustices are causing emotions to run high in everyone, therefore it is so important, now more than ever, that we stay united and focused on our love for Michael. It is perfectly understandable that we are all angry, but we can’t let it turn into extreme negativity and even vengeance. That would go against everything Michael stood for and believed in.

Remember his fans are an extension of him. Everything we do will be reflected back on him. How we conduct ourselves in this situation will contribute to the shaping of his legacy and his legacy is love. Pure and simple!

We have to stay steadfast in our prayers for justice and help each other out in times of need. When you see a friend struggling emotionally about this, offer them support. Help them return to their feelings of love for Michael. Show love for the Jackson family and Michael’s children as well. They need our support right now too. The last thing we want to do is fuel the fire.

We certainly can’t know that justice will be served in the way we want it to, but one thing that is certain – we are a family, united by our love for Michael Jackson and that has to carry us through this time of emotional turmoil.

Bear in mind…the truth always reveals itself! We must have faith that in the end, one way or another, justice will be served.

We are a community and we are here for each other. Your friends are here for you and there are always new friends to be made. Our dots are connected, we are experiencing this together, and we are here for each other. As we watch this difficult story unfold so publicly, we should remember we are not alone and that L.O.V.E. prevails.

"To fans in every corner of the earth, every nationality, every race, every language: I Love You...from the bottom of my heart." Michael Jackson

I love you all too!
