I have been reading for the last few days all the controversy surrounding the Jckson family, and especially that matriarch, Katherine Jackson. I only have a few words to say about all of this drama. It needs to STOP.
I have serious issues with adults following Michael's children so closely on social media. Do we follow other "children"? I don't think so. It becomes problematic when adults follow up and make rude somments to and about children. It becomes fodder for the media when we out of irresponsibility re-tweet conversations carried by chlldren. It's just not good practice. Michael Jackson was a very private person who did not want his children subjected to the harse media scrutiny he had to deal with the majority of his adult ife. These children are minors now. Yes. But it wont be long before they become of age, and that is when the character assassinations will become legally okay and they become food for their sensationalism. It is what happens now that will determine how the media deals with them, categorizes them in the future .
I don't know what to make of any of this. I have always felt the children should NOT e on social websites undisguised. Never! But I am not the guardian of MJ3. So my feelings on this are just that, my feelings. I still think it is dangerous and irresponsible.
I pray that Katherine Jackson is safe and in good health. I feel that she is not in danger less the Unity Tour would certainly by now be canceled. However, it's not. That, alone gives me hope and a little more serenity in all of this. As for the letter and the will, Michael's family OBVIOUSLY knows more about what is going on than the rest of the prying public. I think they are the only one privvy to undisclosed information and peole should respect that. But it is very disrespectful and unbelievalbe in my opinion for them to out information like this on a worldwide social media site like twitter. PRIVACY is key. It seems that only Michael knew that yet he was referred to as "weird & delusional" by many.
People, especially Michae's fans, need to relax, believe and pray for the family. It must be the hardest job on earth to live as a Jackson. Let's uplif them and keep them uplifted. I refuse to be a part of the media machine that is set on destroying the legacy. We can make a difference. Give it your patience. Give it your love. Give it your all. But don't give it an abundance of negative energy and/or attention and feed the media frenzy, We have forums such as ths oe to discuss things we see and hear. Twitter and Facebook in my opinion is not the way. We cannot lend our voices to destroying the privacy nor smearing dirt on Michael's legacy.
Let's all commit to doing things the way Michael would.
