The father of the boy who once accused Michael Jackson of molestation has committed suicide, authorities said today.

Beverly Hills dentist Evan Chandler, 65, was found dead in Jersey City, NJ, in a luxury waterfront apartment. A Jersey City official said Chandler was found in bed with a single gunshot wound to his head. He was still holding the gun when the body was found. A source confirmed the death, which occurred on Nov. 5. Police said it does not appear that he left behind a suicide note.

The former dentist and aspiring screenwriter had several cosmetic procedures, rendering him virtually unrecognizable from the way he looked since the Jackson matter, a family source said. Chandler regularly self-administered botox and cosmetic facial fullers. "He was handsomer version of Rob Lowe. That's how drop-dead handsome he was [after the plastic surgeries],'' the source said. In the early 1990s, Chandler reported Jackson to the authorities in both Los Angeles and Santa Barbara, claiming the King of Pop molested his son, who was just 13 at the time.

Both launched investigations into the allegations and convened a grand jury to look into the sex abuse charges. The boy and and his father also brought a civil suit against Jacko. Jackson reportedly settled the case for $15 million. The boy, now 29, has never spoken publicly about the case. In recent years, Jordan has reconnected with his mother — about the same time he and dad Evan had a massive falling out, sources said.

Jordan Chandler claimed his dad attacked him with a dumbbell weight and got a restraining order against his pop in fall 2006. In 1996, Chandler had filed a $60 million lawsuit against Jackson and his then-wife Lisa Marie Presley, claiming the two breached the terms of a confidentiality deal by talking about the case with ABC's Diane Sawyer during a TV interview the previous year. Chandler was divorced from wife June Chandler in 1992 when their 12-year-old son Jordan met The King of Pop through Evan’s stepdad. Jackson’s car broke down and he happened to be near the Los Angeles rental car agency owned by Jordy’s step father.

The dentist put his own son under anesthesia to remove a tooth — and that’s when Jordan first admitted Jackson had touched him inappropriately. The youngster later repeated those claims to a psychologist, launching the massive two-county probe. Evan Chandler had always been suspicious of MJ’s relationship with his son, who often stayed in the boy’s bedroom during creepy sleepovers. Former Santa Barbara County Sheriff Jim Thomas, who was in office when Jacko was investigated for touching Jordy, said he never held it against the family for taking the money and running.

"They probably did it because they thought it was in their best interest," Thomas said after learning of Chandler’s death. When Jackson was prosecuted in 2005 for allegedly molesting a young cancer victim, June Jordan testified she was estranged from Jordy as a result of the Jackson probe and settlement. "Everybody in this whole saga was touched tragically,’’ Thomas said. "I don’t know that anybody came out of this in a better way.’’ Additional reporting by Linda Stasi

Merle: Beware of God's wrath, those of you who prey on innocence and beauty...for God will fight our battles and in God there will be Justice. I did not pray for this nor I am jumping for joy at this news...but I am neither surprised by it. In all things you reap what you sow.

As a family of fans...stand together and pray for Michael and his family. We do not have to get physical or violent...for In God there always is Justice, especially for one as dear as our Michael!

Thank you, friend, for this article. I have a few comments to add for fellow fans and friends of Michael's.

I believe there is a trail which can lead to the murder conviction of Dr. Conrad Murray, along with his co-conspirators. To follow that trail, we must be well-informed and equipt with pertinent facts surrounding Michael's murder. Therefore, we must read every article, magazine, books and court records to accomplish this. Then we must share what information we've found with each other.

Accordingly, I invite you to read an article printed in the GQ magazine early on when the first child molestation charges began. It is an in-depth investigation conducted by that magazine. It can found at: http://www.buttonmonkey.com/misc/maryfischer.html

Secondly, read the books, "Rendition" written by Geraldine Hughes and the "Michael jJckson Conspiracy" written by Aphrodite Jones and Tom Mesereau.

Thirdly, compile a "Cast of Characters" which is a list of all those who have been or are connected with Michael, his domestic and international affairs, his career/tours,performances, his family, his financesand financial advisors, and his legal issues, just to name a few areas with which we must forcus on.

Under the Freedom of Information Act requests, seven separate files were released and made available to the public.
These can be found at: http://www.fbi.gov/page2/dec09/jackson_122209.html

Consult RadarOnline.com which can be found at: http://www.radaronline.com/print/14568 and http://www.radaronline.com/print15136 and http://www.radaronline.com/print15692. These will discuss the eyewitness accounts of Michael's chef and Dr. Murray's use of "oxygen tanks,"

Lastly, be sure to include the following cast members on your list: (1) Gavin Arvizo, the ex-cancer patient, his mother and brother; (2) Dr. Tohme, the mystery man who was orchestrating Michael's career, finances, legal affairs, and financial affairs in secret. He has been charged with fraud and with making threats. Also, he was orchestrating Michael's tour schedule for the "This Is It" tour; (3) Evan and June Chandler, their son and the stepfather; (4) June Gatlin, Michael's spiritual advisor who has a Sept. 2008 taped conversation of Michael's statement that he distrusted Tohme and feared him, and that Tohme had created a divide between Michael, his attorneys' his representatives and his accountants none of whom would speak with Michael upon Tohme's orders; (5) Dr. Conrad Murray and his contradictory statements given to the authorities after his arrest [consult the Martindale Hubbell book in any law library], as well as his property holdings in 3 separate states (Las Vegas, California, Texas) and where the finances are coming from to pay for his attorney; (6) Ed Chernoff, Esq., Murray's attorney [consult the Martindale Hubbell book in any law library]; (7) the judge assigned to hear this case against Dr. Murray [consult the law book Martindale Hubbell]; (8) The Santa Barbara Sheriff's Department and its Police Department which invaded the Neverland Ranch; (9) Santa Barbara District Attorney's office which traveled to New York in 2003 to interview a child who refused to cooperate with that office to charge Michael with moleatation; (9) the California Federal Prosecutor's Office which was investigatingi Michael for taking a minor across state lines for "immoral purposes;" (10) The FBI which sent officers from Los Angeles to New York to Manila and London hoping to find evidence of child molestation to charge Michael, (11) Tom Sneddon, prosecutor who brought the molestation charges against Michael and chased him relentlessly for ten years [consult the Martindale Hubbell book in the law library; (12) the LAPD and its Detective Gus Villaneeeva who spoke outside of the coroner's office on the day Michael was pronounced dead and LAPD Lt. Greg Strank who spoke outside of Michael's home at a new conference on June 25, 2009; (13) the DEA which was seeking to prosecute Michael on drug charges; (14) the 60 Minutes expose in which the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Dept. was accused of manhandling Michael when he was arrested on molestation charges; (15) the suspicious death of Evan Chandler

We cannot allow this matter to be placed on the back burner. We must be vigilant and consitent in our pursuit of justice for Michael, his children, his family and his friends and fans. Thanks. Let's get busy.
