The portrait represents Michael reflecting on his life. Surrounding Michael are letters fans have written to him, expressing his profound impact on their lives. We asked fans to write letters to Michael and send them to us to be included in the portrait. Six letters were chosen. Even the letters have been hand-drawn onto the canvas, one dot at a time, representing the actual handwriting and paper type used in the original letters.
