UPDATE - Autumn 2011: The Portrait is scheduled to be completed soon. Artist David Ilan will be drawing dots ahead of some people signing up. Anyone who signs up before the portrait is complete will have their dot placed in Michael’s image. After the Portrait is complete, when someone joins they will be assigned a pre-drawn dot somewhere within the Portrait itself, but not necessarily in the areas making up Michael’s image.
Once the Portrait is complete, fans can continue to join for a long time to come.
There is no cost to members to sign up and be represented in Michael’s Portrait, and it takes only seconds.

About the Pose: The drawing represents multiple moments in Michael's life, from his younger years to more recent times. There will be more than one image of Michael in this drawing. Since fans have different opinions on what Michael should look like in the drawing, I came up with a concept that will make everyone happy. How will the different images of Michael work together in the drawing? It's a secret that is being revealed daily, dot by dot... The drawing will take a few twists and turns along the way so check back often.

During its completion, it is has traveled to Europe and Israel; we look forward to expanding the portrait's travel, so fans everywhere can have a chance to see their dot in person. We will soon announce the name of the prestigious location where the portrait will find a permanent home and can be visited by fans from all over the world for years to come.
