On June 25, 2009,
You found yourself in the presence of something divine.
You were surrounded by an angel's soft glow,
But at first, as you sang, you probably told them no.
You had shows to do, films to shoot,
Three little ones to take care of to boot.
But they assured you it was time to go;
You could do more from heaven, as you now know.
If you stayed, the shadow that caused you so much pain
Would never let you help the world again;
They'd heap on more lies, more ridicule and hurt,
And bury your message of love in the dirt.
Your departure would be an awakening,
Encourage folks to discover the true love of the king.
On the physical plane you'd leave a gaping hole,
But in the spiritual realm you'd be a powerful soul.
You could still send out messages, signs, major love,
You could send them to everyone at once from above!
And as for your children, there'd be no need to fear,
A spirit has no limits; to them, you'd always be near.
You paused to think...from the light you could feel
A bliss so incredible it seemed unreal;
And though they'd sent you gorgeous music before,
The sweet songs from the light made your heart soar.
You smiled, let the angels lift your soul in flight,
And now you've found the greatest joy...in the light.
